Hunting population is increasing again

Good news for the sport of hunting — the most recent results from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife surveys show an increase in the number of licensed hunters of 3.6 percent. That’s based on 2009 data, so it remains to be seen if the trend is still continuing. Click here to listen to today’s show, and I’ll tell you why this is good news.

  1. I hear that more women are taking up hunting. Maybe this has contributed to some of the increases. The economy probably has something to do with it also.
