Wet spring comes with potential hazards

Many of the mountains around Wyoming are loaded with higher snowpacks than they’ve had for at least 30 years. That could mean a longer runoff season, or it could mean floods — big floods. Take care in the backcountry this spring to avoid being caught in a flash flood or other weather-related disaster.
